Scroll to Chipset IDE Devices and press <Enter>. The following screen appears:

Delay For HDD (Secs)

This item allows you to set longer time stand by before system Scan HDD at post screen. Some HDD may need a longer stand by time before it can be detected. Options: 0 ~ 15.

IDE HDD Block Mode

IDE Block Mode allows the controller to access blocks of sectors rather than a single sector at a time. The default is Enabled.

Options: Enabled, Disabled.

IDE DMA transfer access

Automatic data transfer between system memory and IDE device with minimum CPU intervention. This improves data throughput and frees CPU to perform other tasks. Options: Enabled, Disabled.

Chipset Primary (Secondary) PCI IDE

The mainboard supports one channel of ordinary IDE interface. Select “Enabled” to activate each channel separately.

If you do not use the onboard IDE connector, set the Chipset Primary (Secondary) PCI IDE to “Disabled”.

IDE Primary/Secondary Master/Slave UDMA

Select the mode of operation for the IDE drive. Ultra DMA-33/66/100 implementa- tion is possible only if your IDE hard drive supports it and the operating environ- ment includes a DMA driver. If your hard drive and your system software both
