3-3. FLASH BIOS UPDATE

3-3-1. Introduction

Users of PPC-7508F can use the program “Awdflash.exe” contained in the

Utility Disk for system BIOS update.

3-3-2. Installation of system BIOS

1. Copy “Awdflash.exe” from Driver Disk to Drive C.

2. Type the path to Awdflash.exe and execute the system BIOS

AWDFLASH 7500xxxx.bin

3. The screen will display the table below:

FLASH MEMORY WRITER V7.XX

Flash Type -49LF004B

File Name to Program: 7500xxxx.bin

Error Message : Do You Want To Save BIOS (Y/N)

If you want to save up the original BIOS, enter "Y" and press < Enter > .

If you choose "N", the following table will appear on screen.

FLASH MEMORY WRITER V7.XX

Flash Type - 49LF004B

File Name to Program: 7500xxxx.bin

Error Message : Are You Sure To Program (Y/N)

Select "Y", and the BIOS will be renewed. When you are refreshing the

BIOS, do not turn off or reset the system, or you will damage the BIOS.
