.Focus Brackets
Focus brackets help you frame the subjects you want to take or record and lock the focus. In still, macro or video mode, press the shutter release button half way down and the focus brackets appear on the LCD monitor.

Frame your subjects with focus brackets.
Slightly press the shutter release button halfway down and hold it to lock the focus.
Press the shutter release button all the way down to take the picture.
