U‘Rinse the milk system’ / ‘Immediate’
U You are prompted to rinse the milk system immediately after preparation of a speciality coffee with milk.
Example: Proceed as follows to make the machine prompt you to rinse the milk system immediately after preparing a speciality cof- fee with milk.
Precondition: ‘Please select product:’ is displayed.
OT Press the P button.
‘Maintenance status (1/6)’
gT Turn the Rotary Switch until the programme item ‘Mainte- nance settings (3/6)’ is displayed.
TPress the ‘Rinse the milk system’ button. ‘Rinse the milk system’
TPress the ‘Immediate’ button. TPress the ‘Save’ button.
‘Saved’ appears briefly on the display. ‘Maintenance settings (3/6)’
OT Press the P button to exit programming mode. ‘Please select product:’
EIf you are using the CLARIS Pro Blue filter cartridge and have activated it, it is not possible to set the water hardness.
The harder the water is, the more frequently the IMPRESSA needs to be descaled. It is therefore important to set the water hardness accu- rately.
The water hardness can be adjusted on a continuous scale between 1° dH and 30° dH.
Example: Proceed as follows to change the water hardness from ‘16 °dH’ to ‘25 °dH’.
