Changing the general settings

3 Select the PSM item you want to

You can change the items listed on the table on pages 53 and 54 by using the PSM (Preferred Setting Mode) control.

• The PSM items are grouped into six categories—MOVIE, CLOCK, DISP (display), TUNER, AUDIO, and COLOR.

Basic Procedure

Ex.: To change “Contrast”

1 Press and hold SEL (select) for more than 2 seconds so that one of the PSM items appears on the display. (See pages 53 and 54.)

The next-step-operation buttons start flashing.

Ex.: If you have selected “Graphics” previously

2 Press number button (in this example, 3) to select one of the PSM categories.

The first-listed item in the selected category

appears.

•By pressing ¢or 4repeatedly, you can also move to another category.

4 Adjust the PSM item selected.

5 Repeat steps 2 to 4 to adjust the other PSM items if necessary.

6 Finish the setting.
