SOUND ADJUSTMENTS

Adjusting the sound

You can adjust the sound characteristics to your preference.

1 Select the item you want to adjust.

SEach time you press the

button, the adjustable items change as follows:

		FAD		BAL
		(fader)	(balance)
	VOLUME		S.BASS
		(volume)	(super bass)
Indication		To do:			Range
FAD*1		Adjust the front		R06 (Rear only)
		and rear speaker
		balance.		F06 (Front only)
BAL		Adjust the left		L06 (Left only)
		and right speaker
		balance.		R06 (Right only)
S. BASS*2		Adjust the bass.		00 (min.)
				07	(max.)
VOLUME		Adjust the volume.		00	(min.)
				50	(max.)

*1 If you are using a two-speaker system, set the fader level to “00.”

*2 The richness and fullness of the bass sound is clearly maintained regardless of how low you set the volume.

Note:

Normally the control dial works for volume adjustment. So you do not have to select “VOLUME” to adjust the volume level.

Selecting preset sound modes (iEQ: i-equalizer)

You can select a preset sound mode suitable to the music genre.

•There is a time limit in doing the following procedure. If the setting is canceled before you finish, start from step 1 again.

1 Press BAND MODE (M).

2 Press EQ (equalizer) while “MODE” is still on the display.

The last selected sound mode is

called up.

3 Select the sound mode you want.

As you turn the control

dial, the sound modes

change as follows:

FLAT OHard Rock OR&B*OPOP O JAZZ ODance Music OCountry O Reggae OClassic OUSER 1 OUSER 2 O USER 3 O (back to the beginning)

*Rhythm and Blues

To cancel the sound mode, select “FLAT” in step 3.
