WHITE SHADING ADJUSTMENT
Green or magenta color appears on the top or bottom of the screen, this is because the white balance is adjusted at the center of the screen but not at the top or bottom of the screen. This is caused by the characteristics of a lens and to compensate it is called white shading compensation.

<How To Set >
After performing the WHITE BALANCE ADJUSTMENT proce- dure 1. to 10., carry out the following settings.
1. Display the MENU screen by pressing the MENU button.
2. Move a cursor to “2. WHITE BALANCE” with the ITEM but- ton, then press the SET button to display the “WHITE BAL- ANCE” screen.
3. Set the SHADING MODE item to the “MANUAL” by pressing the DATA+ button or the DATA– button.
4. Change the items on the LEVEL<R>, LEVEL<G> and LEVEL<B> with the DATA+ and DATA- button while watching the monitor screen.
When the number increases, the color on the bottom of the screen is suppressed and the color on the top is emphasized.
5. When the settings for all channels (R channel, G channel, B channel) are completed, carry out the white balance adjust- ment again.
6. To register the setting values of the white shading to the FILE, return to the normal screen then press the MEMORY button for 2 seconds or more.

Note:
If the whole screen consists of one color, an object has many colors or the color temperature of the light source varies, the appropriate full time auto white balance may not be adjusted. In this case, carry out the “WHITE BALANCE ADJUSTMENT” on page 13.
