CAM	CANCEL		Does not reset all settings to the factory-preset.
RESET
	EXECUTE		Resets all settings to the factory-preset.
SOUND	MIC		Enables sound input from camcorder’s stereo microphone, when Audio
IN			Dubbing ( pg. 66) is executed. “MIC” appears on the Audio Dubbing
			screen.
	D.SOUND		Enables sound effect input recorded on the provided memory card, when
			Audio Dubbing ( pg. 67) is executed. “D. SOUND” appears on the Audio
			Dubbing screen.
ON	LCD		Keeps the camcorder’s display (except the date, time and time code) from
SCREEN			appearing on the connected TV screen.
	LCD/TV		Makes the camcorder’s display appear on screen when the camcorder is
			connected to a TV.
DATE/	OFF		The date/time does not appear.
TIME
	AUTO		Displays the date/time for approx. 5 seconds in the following cases:
			• When the Power Switch is set from “OFF” to “ ” or “ ”.
			• When playback starts. The camcorder displays the date/time when scenes
			are recorded.
			• When the date is changed during playback.
	ON		The date/time is always displayed.
TIME	OFF		Time code is not displayed.
CODE	ON		Time code is displayed on the camcorder and on the connected TV. Frame
			numbers are not displayed during recording.
CLOCK ADJ.			Allows you to set the current date and time ( pg. 13).
QUALITY			Allows you to set the Picture Quality mode (FINE and STANDARD)
			depending on your preference ( pg. 17).
IMAGE SIZE			Allows you to set the Image Size mode (XGA and VGA) depending on your
			preference ( pg. 17).
REC			When Snapshot recording is performed with the VIDEO/MEMORY Switch
SELECT			set to “VIDEO”, still images are recorded only onto the tape.
		/	When Snapshot recording is performed with the VIDEO/MEMORY Switch
			set to “VIDEO”, still images are recorded not only onto the tape but also in
			the memory card.

NOTES:

●The “ CAMERA” settings are effective when the Power Switch is set to both “ ” and “ ”.

●The “ MANUAL” settings are effective only when the Power Switch is set to “ ”.

●“ SYSTEM” and “ DISPLAY” functions which are set when the Power Switch is set to “ ” are also

applied when the Power Switch is set to “ ” (
pg. 44). “CLOCK ADJ.” only appears when the Power Switch is set to “ ”.

●The “ DISPLAY” settings are effective even when the Power Switch is set to “ ”.

●The “ON SCREEN” setting can also be changed by pressing the DISPLAY Button on the remote control (provided) (
pg. 25, 58, 70).
