To modify the program

You can modify the program while the PROGRAM MENU screen is shown on the TV screen.

To erase a step: press Cursor ° (or 5) to select (highlight) an unwanted program step, then press CLEAR.

To modify a step: press Cursor ° (or 5) to select (highlight) a program step you want to modify, then perform step 4 on page 26. (Before entering a new number, press CLEAR repeatedly until “– –” appears on number entry position.)

To add a step: press Cursor ° (or 5) to select (highlight) an empty program step, then perform step 4 on page 26.

•To move program step 11 to program step 10, press Cursor 5 when program step 11 is selected (highlighted) so that “PREVIOUS È” is selected

(highlighted). Then, press ENTER.

•To move program step 10 to program step 11, press Cursor ° when program step 10 is selected (highlighted) so that “NEXT Ç” is selected

(highlighted). Then, press ENTER.

To resume normal play

Press DVD 6.

7Slow Motion Playback

You can enjoy slow motion playback while playing a VCD.

On the remote control ONLY:

Press FM MODE/SLOW repeatedly during play.

•Each time you press the button, slow motion speed changes as follows:

SLOW 1 /2 SLOW 1 /4 SLOW 1 /8

PLAY (Normal play) SLOW 1 /16

7Zoom

You can zoom in on the picture while playing a VCD.

VCD Special Effect Playback

7Still Picture/Frame-by-Frame Playback

You can advance the still picture frame by frame while playing a VCD.

On the remote control ONLY:

1 Press STILL (or DVD 6) once during play.

A still picture appears on the TV screen.

8 PAUSE

On the remote control ONLY:

1 Press ZOOM to zoom in.

•Each time you press the button, the picture is enlarged and resumed.

2x Zoom Canceled

2 Press Cursor (2, 3, 5, °) to move the enlarged portion you want to watch.

To cancel the Zoom, press ZOOM again so that the normal size picture is resumed.
