Starting playback
Be sure to reduce the volume on the System to the minimum level before connecting an iPod. Adjust the volume after playback has started.
1Attach the dock adapter to the docking station.
Dock adapter (supplied for iPod or separately purchased)
Docking station for iPod (supplied)
To detach the dock adapter from the docking station: Push the slot then pull up to remove the dock adapter.
Disconnect the docking station from the center unit when attaching/detaching the dock adapter.
Take care not to damage the terminal on the docking station when attaching/detaching the dock adapter.
2Connect an iPod while the System is turned off.
• Connect the plug with the
3Turn on the System, then select “IPod” as the
source. ( 12)
“CONNECT” appears on the display. If an iPod is not connected firmly, “NO CONNE” appears.
4Start playing the iPod.
•Press 3 (play button) again if the iPod does not start playback.
