1 Alarm 1
Select [ON] to convert signals input to the [ALARM INPUT 1] terminal to [Alarm 1] sig- nals.
If [Alarm Output] is selected, alarm signals are sent to the [ALARM OUTPUT] terminal ac- cording to the output port setting.
2 Alarm 2
Select [ON] to convert signals input to the [ALARM INPUT 2] terminal to [Alarm 2] sig- nals.
If [Alarm Output] is selected, alarm signals are sent to the [ALARM OUTPUT] terminal ac- cording to the output port setting.
3Motion Detection
Select [ON] for motion within the set area to be recognized as a cause for an alarm.
If [Alarm Output] is selected, alarm signals are sent to the [ALARM OUTPUT] terminal ac- cording to the output port setting.
4Relay Alarm
Select here to enable the alarm function, which is activated when two alarms are successively received within a certain period of time.
The sequence and interval of alarm input can be set.
If [Alarm Output] is selected, alarm signals are sent to the [ALARM OUTPUT] terminal ac- cording to the output port setting.
Note
¥A second alarm input enables this relay alarm function, and alarm will not be acti- vated for this second input.
¥Unless the alarm output is enabled, this function is not activated even if [Alarm Output] of the [Alarm Settings] screen is selected.
5Retry [1 to 3]
This function sets how many times an alarm alert to [V.Networks Controller] is repeated (1 to 3).
Note
Depending on the LAN environment, alarm alert might fail. If it fails, set the value to Ò3Ó. In such a case, alarm by [V.Networks Con- troller] itself is set off only once.
6Alarm force output
If [Output] is pressed, alarm signals are sent to the [ALARM OUTPUT] terminal. This forced output is used for checking the alarm func- tion.
7Out port setting
Enable this function to output alarm signals to the [ALARM OUTPUT] terminal.
Using output values, set the polarity, high or low, and output time (1 to 5000 ms) accord- ing to the equipment connected.
If initialization is set to start, the set alarm sig- nal is output once when the power is turned on.
8List
Press here to show the IP addresses of the PCs to which alarm input is reported. To de- lete an IP address, select the address and press [Delete].

¥If more than 10 destinations are set, this function is not activated.
