6. Using the VN-E4Built-in Viewer

Refer to the startup guide on procedures to install the built-in viewer on the PC.

ACH1-CH4Button For selecting the image to display. In addition, selection of a channel is not possible if the checkbox for this channel is deselected in the setting window of the built-in viewer.

Pauses/Resumes playback of images on each CH.

DFull Screen Button Full-screen display of the currently displayed image on the PC monitor. For example, image of CH1 will be displayed in full screen if the image of CH1 is currently being displayed. In the case of a 4-screen display, the 4-screen display will be displayed in full screen. To cancel the AFull ScreenB mode, press "Esc" key on the PC keyboard. Do not push AEscB key just after pushing Full Screen button, because Internet Explorer can not work correctly by such operation.

If the IP address of VN-E4is not registered as a trusted site in the Internet Explorer settings, a title bar and status bar may be displayed at the top and bottom of the full-screen display. A minimize, restore to previous size and close button are located on the right of the title bar. However, these buttons function differently when in the full-screen mode. Pressing the minimize button returns the screen display automatically to the full-screen mode. The restore to previous size button is disabled. Pressing the close button restores the full-screen display of the viewer to the standard display.

E Capture Button

For capturing the currently displayed image on the PC. Images captured will be stored as a

 

JPEG file in the AE4_JPEGB directory that is created under AMy DocumentsB of the PC. The file

 

name is made up of year/month/day/hour/minute/second, millisecond and the input channel. The

 

time denoted by the file name is based on the time at the PC and not the internal clock of VN-E4.

 

1 frame will be captured in the JPEG file when image of 1 CH is displayed. 4 frames will be

 

captured in 4 JPEG files in the case of a 4-screen display.

FSpeech On Button Audio input to the PC will be sent to VN-E4and output from the audio output terminal of VN-E4.Clicking this button when sending is in progress stops the audio transmission. The AoperatorB password of VN-E4will be required in order to use this feature. Register the AoperatorB password of VN-E4on the setting page that appears upon pressing the ASetupB button. When the audio output of VN-E4is used by another client, audio transmission will fail and a warning message will be displayed.
