Kun kuuntelet FM-stereolähetystä, “STEREO”-merkkivalo syttyy ja kuulet stereoefektit.

Jos FM-stereolähetys kuuluu huonosti tai siinä on kohinaa, voit valita monoäänen. Lähetyksen laatu paranee, mutta se ei kuulu enää stereona.

Paina kaukosäätimen FM MODE -näppäintä, kun- nes näytön “MONO“ -merkkivalo syttyy.

Voit palata stereolähetykseen painamalla kaukosääti- men FM MODE -näppäintä, kunnes “MONO“-merkkivalo sammuu.

Saat RDS-signaalit näyttöön, kun:

Painat DISPLAY MODE -näppäintä kuunnellessasi FM-asemaa.

Aina kun painat näppäintä, näytön tekstit vaihtuvat seuraa- vasti:

PS (Programme Service):

Haun aikana näytössä näkyy “WAIT PS“ ja sen jälkeen ra- dioaseman nimi. Näyttöön ilmestyy “NO PS“, jos signaalia ei lähetetä.

PTY (Programme Type):

Haun aikana näytössä näkyy “WAIT PTY“ ja sen jälkeen radioaseman nimi. Näyttöön ilmestyy “NO PTY“, jos sig- naalia ei lähetetä.

RT (Radio Text):

Haun aikana näyttöön ilmestyy “WAIT RT“ ja sen jälkeen radioaseman lähettämä tekstiviesti. Näyttöön ilmestyy “NO RT“, jos signaalia ei lähetetä.

FM-asemien RDS-viritin

Voit valita RDS (Radio Data System)-lähetykset tai kauko- säätimestä.

RDS-toiminnolla FM-asemat lähettävät ylimääräisiä sig- naaleja normaalien lähetyssignaalien lisäksi. Radioasemat voivat lähettää aseman nimen ja tietoja lähetystyypeistä, esimerkiksi onko kysessä urheilu- tai musiikkilähetys yms. Tämä laite vastaanottaa seuraavia RDS-signaaleja:

PS (Programme Service):

näyttää yleisesti tunnetut asemien nimet.

PTY (Programme Type):

näyttää ohjelmatyypin.

RT (Radio Text):

näyttää radioaseman lähettämiä tekstiviestejä.

Mitä tietoja RDS-signaalit välittävät?

Näytössä näkyy radioaseman lähettämiä RDS-signaaleja.

Radioaseman taajuus:

Radioaseman taajuus (tämä ei ole RDS-palvelu).

•Jos haku päättyy heti alkuunsa, näyttöön ei ilmesty vieste- jä “WAIT PS“, “WAIT PTY“ tai “WAIT RT“.

•Jos painat DISPLAY MODE -näppäintä kuunnellessasi AM (MW/LW)-asemaa, näytössä näkyy vain aseman taajuus.

•RDS ei ole käytössä AM (MW/LW) -lähetyksillä.
