To use the unit as a CD-R/RW drive

Press POWER.

 

 

 

POWER

Make sure the power indicator lights.

Press SCSI.

SCSI

Make sure the SCSI indicator lights up.

Turn on the host computer.

Important notes

Setting the SCSI mode to OFF during using the unit as a CD-R/RW drive interferes with the operation of the host computer.

Be sure to operate in the proper order as described above, or the unit cannot be recognized.

NOTES

Your computer system and SCSI devices should not be set up in near proximity to a television or radio as they may cause interference with signal reception.

Be careful not to set the same ID number to two SCSI devices attached to the same host computer.

Be sure to turn off the power supply before changing SCSI ID numbers.

When you have reset the ID number of a SCSI device, be sure also to reset the host computer.

When the SCSI mode is set to OFF, the computer cannot recognize the unit.

When you use the unit as a CD-R/RW drive, the audio functions (playback, recording) do not work.
