Listening to the sound of a Kenwood digital audio player

When this unit is connected with a special cable to a Kenwood digital audio player compatible with digital audio link, the digital audio player can be operated from this unit or its remote control.

	the headphone terminal of the Kenwood digital audio player.

[Connecting to any other digital audio player]

Use a commercial cord with stereo mini plugs to connect the D.AUDIO IN terminal of this unit and the headphone terminal of the digital audio player.

When connecting a digital audio player, first switch off the power for the digital audio player and for this unit before making the connection.

Then switch on both units.

÷The D.AUDIO IN terminal is only for connection of digital audio players. Con- nect only compatible portable equipment.

Turn the INPUT SEL./MULTI CONTROL knob to select “D.AUDIO”. [press the INPUT SELECTOR key on the remote].

÷When the D.AUDIO 6 key on the remote control is pressed, switching to digital audio is done and playback starts.
