3.Tuning (Preset Call)

÷If radio stations have already been stored with AUTO MEMORY (Auto memory function) or manual presetting, select a station using the 4/1, ¡/¢ key [the 4 / ¢ key on the remote]. Each press of the key switches the preset stations in sequence.

The indicator TUNED lights up when a station is received.

The indicator ST. lights up during stereo reception.

When the ¢ key is pressed : P1=P2=P3 ... P38=P39=P40=P1...

When the 4 key is pressed : P40=P39=P38 ..... P3 =P2 =P1=P40.....

÷When a key is held down, preset stations will be skipped at intervals of about 0.5 seconds.

÷To select a preset station from the remote, use the P.CALL 4 / ¢ key or the Numeric keys on the remote control unit.

1Press the MODE key.

Up to 40 stations can be memorized.

2Turn the INPUT SEL./MULTI CONTROL knob to select "AUTO MEMORY".

3Press the SET key.

÷For use of the RDS function, stations must be memo- rized by AUTO MEMORY.

÷RDS stations are given priority during auto presetting. If there is memory left after presetting, this unit con- tinues presetting regular FM and AM stations.

÷A broadcast station that cannot be preset with AUTO MEMORY should be set with Manual preset.
