Relay playback

This function plays back the tapes in both decks A and B

1Open the cassette holders of decks A and

B.

2Insert cassette tapes and close the cas- sette holders of decks A and B.

ÖBe sure to remove tape slack before insertion.

ÖBe sure to close the cassette holder securely by pushing it.

Each press switches the indication.

3Start playback. 1 [” : Relay playback of two sides of tapes in decks A and

B is repeated.

2Ó” : Relay playback is not available with this setting.

3 Ò” : Relay playback of only one side of tapes in decks A and B is repeated.

Each press switches the indication.

1 DOLBY NR “OFF” (extinguished): Dolby NR is not used.

2DOLBY NR “B”: Noise reduction of the ordinary type.

3DOLBY NR “C”: Noise reduction with higher performance.

ÖSelect the Dolby NR mode according to the tape recording status.

ÖTapes are played in the directions indicated by their respective indicators on the display.

ÖThe playback starts with the deck the play key of which is pressed.

To Stop relay playback

Press stop (7) key of the deck that is playing.
