How to provide non-recorded blanks between programs

In stop mode

Press successively twice.

Press once.

ÖAfter leaving a non-recorded blank of about 4 seconds, the deck enters the record-pause mode.

To start recording again from the biginning

The following procedure is useful when you want to cancel recording in progress and re-start it.

A non-recorded space of about 4 seconds or more should be reserved before the position where recording was started.

1Rewind during recording.

During recording in the 3 direction:

ÖWhen the Á (or 1) key is pressed during recording, recording is aborted and tape is rewound as shown below if there is a non-recorded space of more than 4 seconds before the recording start position.

Tape stops after 2 sec. of transport.

Re-recording

Recorded tune

Tune to be re-recorded.

During recording in the 2 direction:

3Replay the tune you wish to record.

4Press the REC/ARM (¦) key once.

Blank of 4 sec. or more.

ÖIf there is no recorded tune before, the tape will be rewound then stopped.

ÖWhen re-recording from the beginning of tape, feed the leader tape (the first portion of tape that cannot be recorded) before starting re- recording.

ÖA non-recorded space of about 4 seconds is reserved on tape, then the tape transport stops.

ÖRecording starts.
