You can adjust the sound quality when the receiver is in the PCM stereo and analog stereo mode.
1Press the SOUND key repeatedly to select the tone mode to be adjusted.
BASS: Select this to adjust the low frequency range. (Press the SOUND key once.)
TREB: Select this to adjust the high frequency range. (Press the SOUND key twice.)

You can adjust the sound quality when the receiver is in the PCM stereo and analog stereo modes.
Press the F.SHIFT key, then press BASS BOOST key on the remote control.
•Press the key once to select the maximum (+10dB) low frequency emphasis setting.
•This key does not function when the receiver is in the sound quality or ambience effects adjustment mode.
Switching back to the previous settingPress the BASS BOOST key again.

Listening with headphones1Press the SPEAKERS A and B key so that the speaker indicator goes off.
Make sure the SPEAKERS indicators are turned off.

•If you turn off all of the speakers when in surround mode, the surround mode will be canceled as well, resulting in stereo play- back.
2Connect the headphones to the PHONES jack.

3Use the VOLUME CONTROL knob (VOL. +/– keys) to adjust the volume.
