Installation of the RTM-8000 is unsuccessful
If you are installing the RTM-8000 to PC, check the following:
• Did you install appropriate driver according to your operating system?
Otherwise, re-install using appropriate driver program.
• Did you insert the RTM-8000 into your P C before you are prompted
to do so? Remove the driver program using Add/Remove Program in
Control Panel and install again. Insert the RTM-8000 when you are
prompted to do so.
• If you are using a adapter card, is it broken or damaged?
• Did you insert the RTM-8000 all the way into the slot or adapter card?
If you are installing the RTM-8000 to Pocket PC, check the following:
• Did you enter correct parameters (such as your PIN code if it is acti-
vated, or the APN of your operator) when installing the RTM-8000?
• Did you insert the RTM-8000 all the way into the slot of your Pocket
PC?
Can not make or receive calls
Check the following:
• Is the SIM card installed? You must install the SIM card to make and
receive calls (except emergency ca lls).
• Have you activated PIN code? If activated, you must enter your PIN
code before you can make or receive calls.
Can not establish GPRS connection
Check the following:
• Is such service activated by your operator?
• Did you enter correct parameters (such as your PIN code if it is acti-
vated, or the APN of your operator) when installing the RTM-8000?
