Strawberry-Banana Smoothie

112 cups (355 mL) buttermilk

1cup (235 mL) frozen unsweetened strawberries

1 cup (235 mL) milk

3medium bananas, broken into quarters

3tablespoons (45 mL) orange marmalade

Place ingredients in pitcher. Cover and blend at LIQUEFY 15 to 20 seconds, or until smooth.

Yield: 5 servings (1 cup [235 mL] per serving).

Per Serving: About 170 cal, 6 g pro, 34 g carb,

2.5 g total fat, 1.5 g sat fat, 10 mg chol, 90 mg sod.

For 56 ounce (1.75 L) pitcher:

Place 214 cups (535 mL) buttermilk, 114 cups (295 mL) frozen unsweetened strawberries, 114 cups (295 mL) milk, 4 medium bananas (broken into quarters), and

13 cup (80 mL) orange marmalade in pitcher. Continue with directions above.

Rum Mocha

2cups (475 mL) chocolate ice cream

12 cup (120 mL) double-strength coffee, cold

12 cup (120 mL) dark rum

4 ice cubes

Place ingredients in pitcher. Cover and blend at CRUSH ICE, 12 to 15 pulses, or until smooth.

Yield: 4 servings (34 cup [175 mL] per serving).

Per Serving: About 210 cal, 3 g pro, 19 g carb,

7 g total fat, 4.5 g sat fat, 20 mg chol, 50 mg sod.

For 56 ounce (1.75 L) pitcher:

Place 4 cups (945 mL) chocolate ice cream, 1 cup

(235 mL) double-strength coffee (cold), 1 cup (235 mL) dark rum, and 8 ice cubes in pitcher. Cover and blend at CRUSH ICE, about 20 pulses, or until smooth.
