General Camera Maintenan ce
Clean the outside of the camera by wiping with a clean, dry cloth. Never
use harsh or abrasive cleaners or organic solv ents on the camera or any of
its parts.
Clean the lens and back LCD screen:
Do not use cleaning sol utions unless they are de signed specifically for
camera lenses. Do not wipe the camera lens or LCD screen with
chemically treated eye glass lens tissue. It may scratch the lens.
1 Blow gently on the lens or LCD screen to remove d ust and dirt.
2Moisten the lens or LCD s creen by breathing lightl y on it.
3Wipe the lens or LCD scre en gently with a soft, li nt-free cloth or an
untreated lens-cleaning ti ssue.
General Safety
Always follow basic safe ty precautions. Refer to the “Important Safety
Instructions” booklet pac ked with your camera.
To keep from damaging your camera, avoid exposing it to mois ture and
extreme temperatures.
Do not allow any chemica ls, such as suntan lotion to come into contact
with the painted surface of the camera.
Never disassemble or touch the inside of the camera. This could result in
electrical shock.
If you notice smoke or a strange smell coming from the camera,
immediately turn off the camera, wait a few minut es until the camera
cools, then remove the batter y.
If you use the camera in a n airplane, observe instr uctions of the airline
company. Radio waves emi tted by the camera may affect the airplane
instruments.
