Camera Viewfinder Light

Light Status Cause Solution

Viewfinder light blinks

red.

Error state. See LCD screen message.

Viewfinder light glows

steady red.

Card is full. Transfer pictures to your

computer (page 50), delete

pictures from the card

(page 34), or insert a card

with available memory.

No card in camera. Insert a card with available

memory.

Viewfinder light blinks

yellow.

Insufficient buffer

memory.

Wait. Resume picture taking

when the light goes off.

Viewfinder light blinks

green.

Auto-exposure or

auto-focus is not

locked.

Release the Shutter button

and recompose the picture.

Camera Card Access Light

Light Status Cause Solution

Card access light

blinks green.

Picture is being

processed and saved

to the card.

Wait. Resume picture taking

when the light stops blinking.

Do not remove the card or

turn off the camera while the

light is blinking.
