6.9.2Connecting via a Network Hub, Switch, or Router

You can connect the Ethernet port of the VP-81KSito the Ethernet port on a network hub, switch, or router, via a straight through cable with RJ-45 connectors. The VP-81KSiEthernet port has to be configured to be compatible with your network (see Section 6.9.3).

6.9.3Configuring the Ethernet Port on the VP-81KSi

To configure the Ethernet port on the VP-81KSi, download the P3K Ethernet Configuration software1 to your PC, extract the files to a folder, and install the software.

To configure the VP-81KSi Ethernet port:

1.Click Start > All Programs > Kramer > P3K Wizard The P3K Wizard window appears.

2.Click Connect.

The Connect window appears.

3.Select one of the following methods to connect to the Ethernet port of the VP-81KSi:
