1.Power off the LaCie Biggest Quadra.
2.Move switch 1 and 2 of the RAID Level Switch Se-
lectors to the ON position.

to the ON position. Move switch 2 of the RAID Level Switch Selectors to the OFF position.

Technical note: In a RAID 0+1 array, the disks in Drive Bays 1 and 2 are one independent RAID 1 group, while the disks in Drive Bays 3 and 4 represent another independent RAID 1 group. This allows one disk from each separate RAID 1 group to fail simultaneously.
