Changes the ease of movement of the coarse/fine drive.

Holds the optics carrier in the microscope carrier.

Holds the binocular tube (or accessory) to the optics carrier.

6Interchangeable objective

Achromatic, planachromatic or planapochromatic

7Adjustable eyepiece tubes Interpupillary distance adjustable from 52 mm – 76 mm.

8Wide-field eyepieces for persons wearing glasses

Diopter setting adjustable within the range from +5 to –5, and eyecups adjustable.

9Clamping screws

These hold the eyepieces in the binocular tube.

10ErgoTube™

The viewing angle is adjustable within the range 10° – 50°.

11Built-in double-iris diaphragm (MZ16/MZ16 A only)
