Switching on and off

Changing fuses

You can prolong the life of your bulb if you:

￿First switch off the lamp by turning the rotary knob into the black range

￿and only then switch the transformer on or off.

￿Turn on the power switch. The diode is illuminated.

￿Use the rotary knob to adjust the brightness.

Above 6 V the diode is illuminated.

Fuses 1.0A, 5⋅20 (stock no. 167 651)

￿Lamp off.

￿Power switch off.

￿Use a flat-bladed screwdriver to press on the slots in the fuse holders (3) and turn the fuse holders to the left.

Pull out the fuse holder.

￿Fit a new fuse and replace the fuse holder.

In the event of	￿ Lamp off.
overload	￿ Power switch off.
	￿ Wait a few seconds.
	￿ Power switch on.
	￿ Lamp on.

Step transformer

Follow the safety instructions given on page 7.

• You can attach a 6 V/10 W lamp to the step transformer.

￿ Set the voltage selector on the rear side to 115 V or 230 V.

￿ Attach the power cable to the power supply.

￿ Connect the lamp.

￿ Adjust the brightness with the three-step switch (4/5/6 V).
