TROUBLE	CAUSE		WHAT TO DO
E. Machine has low output and	1.	Output control Local/Remote	1.	Check position of switch.

	5.	Output control potentiometer	5.	Check and replace
		circuit open (lead 75).		potentiometer if faulty. Check
				wiring of lead #75.
F. Machine does not have	1.	One input fuse blown.	1.	Check and replace if blown

				blown fuse.
	2.	One phase of main transformer	2.	Check for open and repair.

G. Machine will not shut off.	1.	Input contactor contacts frozen.	1.	Check and replace if
				necessary.
	2.	Defective On/Off switch, S-1.	2.	Replace.
H. Variable or sluggish welding	1.	Poor work or electrode	1.	Check & clean all connections.

	3.	Welding current or voltage too	3.	Check procedures for

	4.	Leads or connections open in control	4.	Check & replace if defective.

				negative studs to the work.
