•If the TV/VCR sets the time incor-
rectly,it may have taken the time
from a PBS station in a different
time zone.Follow the steps for
Manual Clock Setting on pages
18-19.
• If no channel numbers appear
during the channel search at step
3,there are no stations in your
area that contain the time signal.

• During the channel search at step
3,the TV picture may be distorted.
This is normal.

The TV/VCR will scan all your available TV channels.
Those that carry a time signal will be listed at the top
of the screen.Use one of these channels when you
enter your AUTO CLOCK CH at step 6.It will take
the TV/VCR several minutes to scan the channels.An
“_ _” appears in the lower left corner of the screen
when the search is complete.
4Press MENU to remove the menu.
5Press MENU.Press PLAY/▲or STOP/▼to
select SETTING CLOCK,then press
F.FWD/B.
6Press PLAY/▲or STOP/▼to select AUTO
CLOCK CH.Press F.FWD/Bor REW/suntil
the channel number of your local PBS station
appears.
Use a channel number you found at step 3.
7Press MENU to remove the menu.
8Press POWER to turn off the TV/VCR.The
TV/VCR will search for the time only when the
power is off.Leave it off for several minutes to give
the TV/VCR time to set the clock.
