Programming a recording

(without VCR Plus+®system)

1Switch on the TV. If required, select the channel number for the
DVD recorder (channel 3 or 4 or the Audio/Video In channel).
2With the Recorder on, press TIMERon the remote control.

3Select 'Timer Programming' using Bor Aand confirm with
C.
The information will appear on the screen.
4Select an item (date, channel, start, end, or Rec mode) with
Dor C.
5Enter information with Bor Aor with the number buttons
0..9.
6For 'Date', enter the month and then the date.
Selecting daily/weekly recordings
While date is selected, use SELECT to choose from the following
options:
'Mo-Fr': Repeated daily recordings from Monday to Friday
'Mo': Repeated weekly recordings (every week on the same day, e.g.
Monday).
Program numbers of the 'EXT1' and 'EXT2' cinch socket
You can also program recordings from external sources via EXT 1 TO
TV-I/O('EXT1') or EXT 2 AUX I/O('EXT2').
Changing recording mode in the 'Rec Mode' input field
Select the 'Rec Mode' input field using C.
Using B,Aselect the recording mode 'HQ,SP+,EP,EP+'. Tip
7If all information is correct, press the OKbutton. The
information is stored in a TIMER block.
8To end, press TIMER.
9Insert a recordable disc in the Recorder.
The disc is checked.
10 Switch the Recorder off with STANDBYm.
The programmed recording will only function properly when the
DVD recorder has been switched off using the
STANDBYmbutton.
If any of the TIMER blocks are in use, 's' will light up on the display.
