As soon as the DVD Recorder is connected to the power supply, there are some components that are in constant operation. To switch off the DVD Recorder completely you must disconnect it from the power supply.

If you disconnect the DVD Recorder from the power supply, pull out the power cord's plug from the wall outlet, not only the plug from the 4MAINS jack at the rear of the Recorder. Children playing near the device could suffer injuries at the free end of the cable.
