Programming a recording without the VCR Plus+® system

1Turn on your TV. Select the channel number for the DVD Recorder (Audio/Video In or channel 3 or 4).

2With the Recorder on, press TIMER on the remote control.

3Select 'Timer Programming' using B or A and confirm with C .The information will be displayed.

4Select a field with D or C .

5Enter information with B , A or the number buttons 0..9 . For 'Date', you first enter the month and then the day.

Selecting daily/weekly recordings

In 'Date' use SELECT to select from the following options: 'Mo-Fr': Repeated daily recordings from Monday to Friday

'Mo': Repeated weekly recordings (every week on the same day, e.g. Monday).

Channel numbers of the 'EXT1' and 'EXT2' jacks

You can also program recordings from external sources connected to

S-VIDEO (Y/C) , VIDEO (CVBS) ('EXT2') or

COMPONENT

VIDEO Y PB PR ('EXT1').

 

Change 'AM/PM'

 

Use the SELECT button to select 'AM' or 'PM' in the fields 'Start' and

'End'.

 

Changing the recording quality

 

Select the 'RecMode' field using C .

Tip

Use B or A to select the recording mode.

6If all information is correct, press the OK button. The information is stored in a TIMER block.

To end, press TIMER .

The disc you have inserted will be checked.

8Find the position on the disc where the recording should begin.

9Switch off the Recorder with STANDBY m .

The programmed recording will only function properly when the DVD Recorder has been switched off using the STANDBY m button.

If any of the TIMER blocks are in use, 'TIMER' will light up on the display.
