Additional settings

You can select the following functions in this menu:

'Status box'

Along with the on screen menu, the OSD (On Screen Display) also shows the current operating status on the TV screen (counter, playback, recording, TV channel,...).

You can switch off the information about the operating status to avoid recording this information when making recordings.

'On': The OSD information appears for a few seconds, then disappears again.

'Off': The OSD information is off. It can no longer be displayed on the screen.

'Standby'

To save energy, you can switch off the clock display on the DVD recorder. Programmed (TIMER) recordings will still take place.

Also, you can present the most important features of the DVD Recorder in scrolling text in the display (demo).

'Low power': If the DVD Recorder is switched off using STANDBY m , the clock display is not visible.

'Normal': If the DVD Recorder is switched off using STANDBY m , the clock display is visible.
