Check engine oil level

a.With engine level, remove engine oil filler plug (fig. 4)

b.Engine oil should be to point of almost overflowing (fig. 4). Engine oil capacity is about 1 1/4 pints (20 ounces).

NOTE!

Be very careful not to allow dirt to enter the Engine when checking or adding oil or fuel. Use clean 30 or 10W-30 grade oil and store in approved, clean covered containers. (Do not use pressurized starting fluid, as severe internal engine damage may occur due to loss of lubrication.)

Fill fuel tank

To fill fuel tank (fig. 5), use fresh, clean regular unleaded automotive gasoline. Capacity is about 2.5 quarts.

Ölstand im Motor Kontrollieren

 

a. Bei niedrigem Motorölstand Öleinfüllschraube herauss-

 

chrauben (Abb. 4).

b. Das Motoröl solte am Einfüllstutzen fast überlaufen (Abb.

4). Die Motorölmenge beträgt ca. 0,6 1.

 

HINWEIS!

Beim Kontrollieren oder auffüllen des Mororöls, ist darauf zu achten, daß kein Schmutz in den Motor gelangt. Es ist sauberes 30 oder 10W-30 Motoröl zu verwenden und in geeigneten, sauberen Kanistern zu verwahren. (Keine unter Druck stehende Startflüssigkeit verwenden, da mangelhafte Schmierung schwere Motorschäden verursachen kann).
