Het wordt aanbevolen de riem(en) door een gekwalificeerde reparateur te laten vervangen.

Tand vervangen

Als de tand versleten is moet uw cultivator harder werken en graaft hij niet zo diep. Bovendien kunnen versleten tanden hiet goed hakken en het organisch materiaal niet goed ver- snipperen, en het niet diep genoeg begraven. Een tand die zo versleten is (fig. 16) moet vervangen worden.

Om er zeker van te zijn dat uw machine steeds perfect werkt moet u regelmatig controleren of de tanden scherp zijn, of ze niet teveel versleten zijn en of ze niet verbogen zijn. Dit geldt vooral de tanden die het dichtst bij de transmissie zitten (fig. 17). Als de afstand tussen de tanden meer dan 9 cm bedraagt, moeten ze vervangen worden of rechtgetrokken worden:

Nieuwe tanden moeten gemonteerd worden zoals getoond wordt in (fig.18). Geslepen tanden roteren achterwaarts, van boven naar beneden (fig. 18).

Kom nooit aan de motortoerentalregelaar. Hij is af fabriek geregeld voor het juiste toerental van de motor.
