Changing the listening position

A conventional stereo system provides a single balance control, which changes the relative loudness of the two loudspeakers. The 541 Surround Controller provides a more sophisticated adjustment which correspond to changing the effective listening position relative to the loudspeakers.

Two separate controls are provided, one to move the listening position to the left or right, and one to move it to the front or rear.
