Setting the timer
The timer can be used to time an activity separate from the oven.
To set the timer
^Press the "Timer" button.
^Enter the desired time in hours and minutes (1 min. - 23 hrs. 59 mins.) with the "+" button.

If the oven is also being used, the timer time period will only show for a short time. Then the oven or probe core tem- perature will appear again in the dis- play. The "l" symbol will continue to be visible as a reminder that the timer is working.
At the end of the timed period:
–a tone sounds for 5 seconds.
–the "l" symbol will flash for 1 minute.
The tone and the flashing symbol can be cancelled by pressing the "Timer" button.
To cancel the timer
^Press the "Timer" button.
