YStop engine and let cool.

1 Oil Filter

2 Oil Drain Plug

3 Oil Drain Hose (Optional)

4 Oil Fill Cap

5Primary Fuel Filter (Fuel/ Water Separator)

6Petcock

7Secondary Fuel Filter

8Fuel Shutoff Valve Lever

9Sludge Drain Plug

To change oil and filter:

See engine manual.

To drain water from fuel system:

Open primary fuel filter petcock and drain water into metal container. Close petcock when water-free fuel flows.

To replace primary fuel filter:

Close shutoff valve and turn filter counterclockwise. Remove filter.

Apply thin coat of fuel to gasket on new filter. Install new filter and turn clockwise. Open shutoff valve. Bleed air from fuel system accord- ing to engine manual.

Inspect fuel line, and replace if cracked or worn.

To replace secondary fuel filter:

See engine manual.

To drain sludge from fuel tank:

.This procedure should only be

done by a Factory Authorized Service Agent.

Remove Welder A (left) control panel to access sludge drain plug.

Put metal container under drain and remove plug. Reinstall plug when sludge has drained.

Reinstall control panel.

YAfter servicing, start engine and check for fuel leaks.

YStop engine, tighten connec- tions as necessary, and wipe up spilled fuel.

Close doors.
