CAUTION

Do not run the pump without the water supply con- nected and turned on as this will result in damage to the pump.

STARTING AND STOPPING THE PRESSURE WASHER

See Figures 12 - 15.

NOTE: Before starting the engine, read the engine operator’s manual.

To start:

1.Place the fuel valve lever in the on position.

2.If the engine is cold, move the choke lever to the closed position. As the engine warms, move the choke to the open position.

If the engine is warm, leave the choke lever in the open position.

3.Move the throttle lever away from the MAX position (pushed to the right) to about one-third of the way towards the MIN position (pushed to the left).

4.Place the ON / OFF Switch in the ON ( l ) position.

5.Grasp the recoil starter and pull slowly until resistance is felt. Give the recoil starter a short, brisk pull to start the engine.

NOTE: If starting is difficult, release the pressure in the spray wand by pulling the trigger.

6.Move the throttle lever to the MAX position once the machine is running.

1.Move the throttle lever to the MIN position.

2.Place the ON / OFF switch in the OFF ( O ) position.

3.Turn the fuel valve lever off.
