Installing the Software

To transfer data between your phone and computer, you must install the software included with the

Motorola Original™ data kit. See the data kit user’s guide for more information.

Making a Data Call

Use this procedure to send data from a connected computer or hand-held device using a CSD or GPRS network connection.

Action

1Make sure that the phone is connected and powered on. To connect your phone, see

page 137.

2 Open the application (such as dial-up- networking) on your computer, and place the call through the application.

Note: You cannot dial data numbers through your phone’s keypad. You must dial them through your computer.

3When the transfer is complete, end the call from the connected device to close the connection.
