Getting Started

To start using your i615 phone:

•Make sure your SIM card is in place.

•Charge the battery.

•Activate your service.

•Enable over-the-air sec urity if you are prompted

to.

Locating Your SIM Card

Your SIM (Subscribe r Identity Module) card i s a

small piece of plastic located in the SIM card

holder in the back of your phone, underneath the

battery.

If your SIM card is not in th e SIM card holder, it

may be in the box your phone ca me in, attached to

a piece of plastic about the size of a credit card. If

this is the case, carefully de tach your SIM card

from the surrounding plastic and insert it as

described in “Inserting Your SIM Card” on page 15.

If there is no SIM car d in your phone or the bo x,

contact your service provider .
