Getting Started

To connect your phone to your laptop or other device:

1Open the connector cover.

2With the phone’s display facing up, insert the data cable’s connector into the accessory connector, until you hear a click.

3Insert the data plug into the COM port of your laptop or other device.

To connect your phone to your laptop or other device via Bluetooth:

Check that the device’s Bluetooth adaptor is properly installed, and then follow the specific instructions outlined in the device’s user guide to connect the device with your phone.

Make sure no other application is using the COM port selected.

Make sure the COM port settings of your laptop or other device are set to the following:

Bits per second: 4800

Data bits: 8

Parity: None

Stop bits: 1

Flow control: Hardware

To set your phone to send location information to your laptop or other device:

1From the main menu, select GPS > Interface.

2Set NMEA OUT to On.

Your phone is now sending location data to your laptop or other device.
