The unit is roaming when operating outside of your “home” system.
The area within which your unit operates is defined by your service provider. Since this is a radio system, no exact boundaries (as on a map) can be drawn. The red status indicator (No Ser- vice) lights solid if you are beyond range of a ser- vice area. There may be locations within your area, such as tunnels and underground parking facilities, where the unit may act as if it were beyond range.
