Storing Names and Numbers

To take advantage of the internal Phone Book, you will need to store some names and numbers into memory. Your phone’s dedicated  key makes storing quick and easy.

1.Enter Enter the phone number you want to store.

2.Begin Press  to begin storing.

Storing You will see: Location XX? XX is the num- ber of the lowest available location.

3.Accept Press  or Ç to store the sequence in Location the displayed location.

or Enter Press ‚ to clear the location number

New from the display and enter a new two-digit Location location number.

or Select Enter the first digit of the memory location Range of and press Ç to store the sequence in

Ten the first available location beginning with that digit.

4.Enter Enter a name to identify the phone number.

Name (See the next page for help entering names.) Press a or  when finished. Your phone will confirm the entry by displaying the infor- mation stored.

Keep in mind: Your Phone Book sorts alphabetically by the first letter in the entry. If you store an entry without a name it will be placed at the back of the Phone Book.
