Getting Started

Before you can send or receive messages or calls, you need to install your SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card and the battery. The SIM card supplied by your service provider is a “smart” card that contains your Personal Communicator’s phone number, service details, and memory for storing phone numbers and messages. Do not bend or scratch it and do not expose it to static electricity or water. Note: Some networks let you make emergency calls without a SIM card. Check with your service provider.

Optional Features

Features marked with this label are optional network and/or subscription-dependent features. These features may not be offered by all service providers in all geographical areas.

Contact your service provider for information about availability.
