2Press SELECT (+) to “lock” the selected word portion.

3If necessary, press DELETE (-) to delete the space after the partial word.

4Continue to enter and save letters and/or letter combinations to spell the word.

Using the Numeric Entry Method

To enter numbers in a text screen:

1From a text entry screen, press M.

2Scroll to Numeric and press SELECT (+).

3Press the appropriate number key(s).

Using the Symbol Text Entry Method

Your phone provides an alternate way to enter symbol characters in a message. Press M > Entry Method from any text entry screen and select Symbol.

1From a text entry screen, press M.

2Scroll to Symbol and press SELECT (+).

3Press number keys to add digits to the number.

4Press the appropriate number key until your phone displays the symbol you want.
