Receiving a Text Message

When you receive a text message, your phone displays X (message waiting indicator) and a New Message notification, and sounds an alert.

Press	To
READ (+)	open the message

If reminders are turned on, your phone sends a reminder at regular intervals until you close the new message notification, read the message, or turn off your phone.

When your phone displays Memory is Full!, delete some existing messages from your inbox, outbox, or drafts folder to receive new messages.

After you read a message:

Press	To
M	access the Message menu


Option	Description
Reply	Reply to the message.

Delete	Delete the message.

Call Back	Call the number that sends
	the message.

Chat	Invite the sender to join a
	chat (see page 65).

Forward	Forward the message to
	another number.
