Special Radio Features

Selectable Power-Level

This feature allows you to select the power level at which your radio will transmit messages.

Note

The radio will always turn on to the default setting as determined through radio service software.

Place the TX Power-Level Switch (if programmed, see page 2) in the “high-power” position or the “low- power” position.

High Power = longer transmitting distance; lessens battery life

Low Power = shorter transmitting distance; conserves battery life
