Steps 1 thru 8 are referenced for Engine Operating Panel
NOTES/N 3701674 and above. See Figure 57 below.This unit does
not have an ignition switch or a throttle handle. It does have an “engine speed switch” that is used in conjunction with the MPEC unit.

6.Once the engine is warm and the engineisrunningproperly, place the engine speed switch in the “HIGH ” position (Figure 62).

2. Set the battery ON/OFF switch (Figure 58) to the “ON” 7. Verify that the "Engine Running" status LED on the MPEC position.

3.Press and hold the engine preheat button (Figure 59) until the preheat lamp is lit (ON).
