3.Remove the drain plug to drain the oil.
4.After oil is sufficiently drained, securely tighten the drain plug.
5.Using a filter wrench, turn the oil filter
6.Clean sealing surface on engine where filter mounts.
7.Coat the seal of the new oil filter with clean engine oil. Install new filter first by hand until it contacts the engine sealing surface. Tighten it another 3/4 turn using the filter wrench.
8.Fill engine crankcase with high quality detergent oil classified "For Service CF, or
9.Run the engine briefly for several minutes. Watch for oil leakage. Shut the engine down and allow it to sit for several minutes. Top off the oil to the upper limit on the dipstick.
10.Be sure to coat the seal (Figure 23) of the new oil filter with clean engine oil.

Radiator/Cooling System

YANMAR recommends antifreeze/summer coolant for use in their engines, which can be purchased in concentrate (and mixed with 50% demineralized water) or
WARNING
If adding coolant/antifreeze mix to the radiator, DO NOT remove the radiator cap until the unit has completely cooled. The possibility of hot! coolant exists which can cause severe burns.

Operation in Freezing Weather
